William Zepeda’s possibilities to mark a tie on the Light WBC champion, Shakur Stevenson, fired on the roof for his fight on July 12 after Turki Alralkh’s observation last night, no longer supports the fights involved in fighters who do not want to participate in struggles with their Riyadh events.
Turki did not specifically solve Shakur (23-0, 11 kos), but his comment on not wanting fighters who had just ran to their letters was a statement of intent. Stevenson must stay in his pocket and punch with Zepeda next month if he knows what is good for him.
It will be difficult for Newark, New Jersey, a native Shakur, to be a stationary even a moment against Zepeda without leaving it overwhelmed by punches. He has never been known for having a high punch production, and went against a fighter with the highest production of the light division of Zepeda.
Stevenson will not last five rounds against Mexican tie artist if he does not run. It is not built to mix it against offensive fighters such as Zepeda or nobody in the light division.
After seeing the Alralikh directive, Shakur is likely to be said to be left in the trenches and climb Zepeda. However, when it comes to the ring on July 12, it will probably fight as it always does.
This means that Shakur will launch a punch and this comes out. We will see this pattern the whole struggle and, yes, there will be constantly enthusiasm for the fans of New York. They expect them to entertain for their money and will not tolerate twelve rounds of Shakur.
The movement Devin Haney used in his highly criticized performance against Jose Ramirez on May 2 is nothing compared to what Shakur did in his fight against Edwin de los Santos and Jeremia Nakathilia.
“From that moment on, I don’t want to see more Tom and Jerry -type boxing matches where a fighter runs around the ring and the other pursues him. We can support this kind of fights,” said Turki AlralShikh X.
In Stevenson’s last part -time Boxeador, Josh Padley, last February, even moved against him and has no power to speak.
Padley was a domestic British fighter whom the promoter Eddie Hearn recommended as a replacement opponent. It was not the original choice. Stevenson should have been able to put himself in the center of the ring and massacred him, but he was also in the race.
Hearn promotes Shakur and they used to use the unbeaten Cuban contestant Herrera Cores (17-0, 15 kos) as a replacement opponent. He has ranked number 6 WBC and is very dangerous.
