Criminal thoughts Brought a voit out of his comma with a crazy turn – but is it a sport?
During the Thursday, May 15, a chapter of Criminal Thoughts: EvolutionYou can (Zach Gilford) alert but he is not the dangerous (alleged) serial murder as the Bau remembers. Instead of, Voit appeared to suffer A head injury caused a significant memory loss – and could even have taken away his psychopathic trends.
“(Showrunner) Erica (Messer) Talked to me about the vision for this season. She was like, ‘We really want a mess with the spectators’ heads and make them feel bad for you,’ ”Gilford, 43, remembered during a unique interview with Weekly US. “It’s like, ‘In season 1, the trick was that we didn’t see that you were doing anything bad and showing you as a family man and a good man.’ So people liked it but is a bad guy.
Season 3 of Criminal Thoughts: Evolution introduces the audience to a voice they have not seen before.
“Erica said, ‘Now everyone knows everything about you and now we want to find a way to make everyone feel bad for you.’ It’s funny too because the sequence you see vit goes through in the first episode. “But going through that and trying to find out how to track them in each chapter, how much development or recovery I had done.”
Kilford also teased some “Heartbreaking” scenes for voit, adding, “A lot of it is this guy who remembers nothing of discovery – or realizes – everything he has done and not that person. He just tries to come to terms with them, ‘How could I ever have done it? How could anyone do it – let alone how I did that?’ Which is a pretty messy concept. ”
The first season Criminal Thoughts: Evolution (Aka season 16 OG Criminal thoughts Series) presented a vit as the main opponent. The Bau spent the entire season hunting down the abundant murderer, whom they stepped Sicarius after associating him with 62 murders -and because the chief master was behind the establishment of a network of serial mid -burials.
After a Voit was arrested – for a single murder – he became a professional criminal consultant for the BAU. While vit is no longer the villain, Whether his memory loss is real or there is still an action.
“That was what I had to constantly ask. Does it fake it? Is this real? What’s going on? Actually, everyone else would ask me,” Gilford remembered. “Everyone would probably be, ‘I think he falses it.’ I’m like, ‘No, he’s a good man.’ You never know what’s going to happen in four episodes from now.
Gilford pointed out that Voit’s brain scans confirmed that he was a man changed, adding, “This is what I love about is the patterns of his brain. His brain is literally being physically changed. So in theory, he is a good person and is a normal person now. But he has still done all those things.”
He continued: “It’s a very cool concept, although this person would never do this again – he’s done. It’s such a crazy concept that there’s no real answer for him. Ultimately, I’m like, ‘Well, he did it all … claimed.'” “
Costar Gilford Adam Rodriguez had a different taken while talking to Us.
“Voit always lies. I don’t trust a vit at all. I don’t trust the brain scans. I don’t trust the fact that he couldn’t be in cahoots with the doctor or someone else in hospital,” joking Rodriguez. “He may be working with someone in the radiology department who is also part of his network. I don’t trust any of it. I’m really firmly about the fact that I don’t buy. Even if it’s true, I’m still not worried.”
The Best part of the TwistNevertheless, is the new version of Voit determines that Rossi (Joe mantegna) is his father. As a fan of Mantegna, Gilford took any chance that he could share more screen time with his costar.
“I was so nervous to meet him. I was so nervous to work with when he directed me and gave me a note. I was like, ‘I’m the worst actor in the world.’ All he was doing was giving me a note. Then he was the main person I interacted with – especially in season 2, ”Remembered Gilford. “Now in season 3, it is just taking this character and his life identifying and giving away serial killers. Now he has to help one in one sense.”
Gilford loves fans to see Where the story goes From here.
“That theme of Rossi is also the audience. He asks, ‘Does this man fake him? I hate this person but I see a human being suffering here.’ So that very human empathy part of Rossi is not exactly like, ‘f *** this guy.’ It will be presented under this way, ”he told us. “I’m excited for this season. I liked the arc and where it goes. It was so good.”
