Chahal and Dhanashree tied the knot in December 2020, but were separated in June 2022. On February 5, they filed a joint divorce request for mutual consent. However, by virtue of Section 13B (2) of the Hindu marriage law, a Family Court can only consider this reason after a mandatory waiting period of six months.

Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma arrived separately for their divorce procedures in the Bandra High Court. Dhanashree opted for a simple appearance in a T -shirt and white jeans, while Chahal wore a black t -shirt with the bold statement, “Be your own sugar daddy.”
The Indian cricket initially carried a hooded sweatshirt and later revealed the message to the shirt when leaving the court, causing widespread speculations and discussions among fans. Her choice of dress went viral, and many interpreted her as a subtle message about her separation.

Hours before his divorce procedure, Chahal was seen with his rumor girlfriend, RJ Mahvash in a park in Andheri, Mumbai. The duo spent time together before Chahal went to court for the final view of his Dhanashree Verma divorce.
Yuzvendra Chahal to pay 4.75 ₹ Crore in pension to Dhanashree Verma
Yuzvendra Chahal will pay 4.75 ₹ Crore as a pension to Dhanashree Verma as part of his divorce agreement. Reports indicate that the 34 -year -old has already paid $ 2.37 from Crore, with the remaining amount to pay after the end of the divorce.
It was previously reported that Dhanashree had sought 60 ₹ Crore, but official documents confirmed the amount resolved to 4.75 ₹ Crore. The High Court of Mumbai granted an exemption from the mandatory refrigeration period of six months under the Hindu marriage law, quickly monitoring the mutual consent divorce.
However, the court considered the partial payment of the pension as a breach, which influenced its decision to deny Chahal’s appeal for resignation.
