The Jaiswal Obrador became the first centurion of the fifth test between India and England, as it hit an epic 118 of 164 balls, with 14 four and 2 six. He played a crucial role in India, publishing a great marker in his second post with the bat.
Former Indian cricket, Navjot Singh Sidhu, was impressed with Jaiswal and gave a rich praise to the young man.
“Yasasvi Jaiswal played a brilliant entry. If I compare all Indian openers, Gavaskar is at number one. But it was a phase where test matches were drawn and you would do the storm.
“Sehwag made a change to this approach. Jaiswal is above greatness. Now it is about him to hold it -and he will do it. It’s not a hundred ordinary. He terrorized the opposition. If he would stop and play constantly, he might not do this hundred. He reminds me of Matthew Hayden,” he told his YouTube channel.
