Xabi Alonso says “now is not time” to discuss the future as Real Madrid Eye Bayerkusen Boss

Bayer Leverkusen’s manager, Xabi Alonso, has decided to speculate on a possible passage to Real Madrid, insisting that the focus must remain in the final stretch of the season.

The 43 -year -old Spanish is among the names that a replacement is considered if Carlo Ancelotti left the Bernabeu this summer.

The impressive Alonso’s possession of Alonso in Leverkusen, which includes guiding them towards a title of unbeaten Bundesliga and a victory of the German Cup in its first full season, has made it a managerial perspective throughout Europe.

Despite the assembly rumors, Alonso remained narrow when asked about his future during his last press conference.

“It’s not a good time to discuss the future. We are at a very important time of the season.

“I don’t want to talk about speculation and rumors. (I understand) this is happening, but what is most important to me is what happens right now.”

Currently, Leverkusen Trail Bayern Munich for six points with only five games remaining in the Bundesliga campaign, without leaving the distractions, as they press another strong end and return titles.

Club’s CEO, Fernando Carro, also deepened the rumors of a Madrid movement, adding that Alonso feels “comfortable” in the club and is already involved in planning for next season.

In the meantime, Jurgen Klopp, another manager linked to Real Madrid, seems unlikely to return to any time. His agent, Marc Kosicke, told Sky Germany on Friday: “Jurgen is very pleased with his new role as Red Bull Global Football Head.”

As for Alonso, this is not the first time that it has connected with the best clubs. Last year, he was related to the director’s vacancies of Real Madrid, Liverpool and Bayern Munich.

A player decorated by himself, Alonso enjoyed a six -year -old star with Real Madrid between 2009 and 2014, winning in the league and the Champions League.

He finished his play days at Bayern Munich in 2017 before making the transition to coaching.
