“It was difficult to remake it after two deployments and returning to Wyoming,” said his brother Bakster Shepperson.

Program executives say they are working on building more cabin, allowing additional veterans and the first respondents to stay overnight during the program when they feel the therapeutic connection with the horses.
“It’s like when you have found the connection you have lost,” Walker said. “It allows you to have this connection and spirit.”
Remount Operation allows veterans and first respondents to keep the wild horse after a six -week course. The commercial organization conducts classes both in the spring and in the fall.

The Remount Operation team is working on creating a closed object so that they can offer the program during the year, even in the hard winter months of Wyoming.
