Work not done for Spurs, despite an impressive exhibition

Tottenham approached the Europa League final, but the job was not done after a 3-1 victory over Bodo/Glimt in the first part of the semifinal tie.

The Spurs needed only 37 seconds to take leadership against the surprise package of the competition, Brennan Johnson directed them in front.

James Maddison won 2-0 when Bodo got rid of some football from the one of the Spurs route 11 minutes before the interval.

The tie was seen even though Dominic Solanke quietly turned a 61st minute penalty, but a late goal Ulrik Saltnes gave Bodo Esperanza to go back to his return next week, after won six of his seven home games in Europe League this season.

Tottenham to Bodo/Glimt

A BODO was left with an effort to try to regain its composition after Richarlison produced a huge head in the goal of the Cross of Pedro Porro to put the ball on a dish so that Johnson nodded home.

Tottenham struggled to break down Bodo later, but finally did it simplisticly, Maddison traveled his career perfectly to find the long leek ball and double the advantage of the Spurs with an excellent first touch and a measured finish in the lower left corner.

Rodrigo Bentancur almost reached 3-0 with a fierce impetus that Nikita Haikin did very well to stay out, Butole Didrik Blomberg offered a memory of the threat posed by the visitors when he fired from close to the range shortly before the break.

But the first stage went beyond Bodo when Fredrik Sjovold caught Cristian Romero in the calf as he challenged the ball in the air, giving Solanke the random slip to the Third of Tottenham with a non -flowing penalty.

However, the second half took a sour turning around Tottenham, as Maddison and Solanke were forced with injuries.

This killed the impetus for the house and Bodo took advantage of the closing minutes to give it something to its traveling people.

Bodo worked smartly in La Caixa and Saltnes, after twice in his impressive Lazio elimination, he created a space for himself to engine for a trait that diverted Rodrigo Bentancur and beyond a Guglielmo Vicario indefense.

Qarabag is the only team that won Bodo in Europe League this season, and after having won each of his last four games at home in Europa League for at least two goals, it was not uncommon for the Norwegian side to celebrate a new one with so much wild. The draw is far from ending.
