Will Smi Not running from his evil oscars slap – he even raps for it.
Smith, 56, released his new album, Based on a true storyon Friday, March 28, and is full of words that seem to refer to the Oscars 2022 moment when he walked unexpectedly on stage and Host slapped Chris Rock. Smith’s cameras were shouting at a rock after the fact, saying to the comedian, “Keep my wife’s name out of your f—— mouth!”

“I heard him win the Oscar but he had to give it back / and you know they only made him do it s – because it’s black,” the song continues.
Smith did not have to return his best actor 2022 Oscar for his role in the 2021’s King of RichardBut he was banned from the Academy Awards events for the next 10 years. The actor also resigned from the Motion Arts and Photo Sciences. Following the incident, Smith issued a public apology.

“Jokes on my lunar are part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bring emotionally,” he said at the time. “I would like to apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line, and I was wrong. I am ashamed, and my actions were not a sign of the man I want to be.”
Smith added more references to the slap later in the album on the track, “You Lookin ‘for me?”

Before releasing the album, Smith had already dropped a few singles, including “Beautiful Scars,” Great sean.
