Will Fury resort to dirty tactics against Usyk?

Dillian Whyte is one of the legions of people who want former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury to play dirty pool by breaking the rules by taking down WBA, WBC and WBO champion Oleksandr Usyk in eight days in the their rematch at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh. live on DAZN.

Fans urge Fury to cheat against Usyk

People who want Fury to win overwhelmingly advise him to cheat against Usyk, which is worrying. If Tyson doesn’t have the talent to beat Usyk, why would his fans and countrymen want him to break the rules?

What does this say about your moral code of ethical conduct? The basic problem is that Fury is not good enough to beat Usyk, and it will NOT help to manhandle him. Does Fury really want to be seen as Turki Alalshikh who has to resort to brutal tactics to beat his former conqueror?

British official Whyte wants Fury to use the same tactics that worked for him in his victory against former cruiserweight champion Steve Cunningham on April 20, 2013. That was a long, long time ago when Fury was 24 years and much thinner than him. today at 36 and looking closer to 50.

I get the impression that Fury is so desperate to win that he will be absolutely ruthless in the ring. Hopefully, the referee won’t be biased and will do his job to penalize and disqualify Fury if necessary if he goes into middle age, treating the fight as a fifth century dark age battle

Usyk won’t let the fury get to him

Physically, the “Gypsy King” is not the sprightly, mobile, young fighter he was 11 years ago when he fought Cunningham and scored a seventh-round knockout by holding and striking. Usyk won’t allow Fury to use the same approach against him, and there’s no way the referee is going to stand by and let that happen. There will be too much backlash.

“He has to be aggressive and try to abuse him. (Fury) has to fight him like he fought Deontay Wilder the second time and Steve Cunningham,” Dillian Whyte told talkSport Boxinggiving his take on how Tyson Fury should fight three-time unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk to succeed in his rematch on December 21.

“When Steve Cunningham dropped him, Fury got up and got physical and started pushing him and started abusing him and started abusing him,” Whyte continued. “He (Fury) might drop a couple of points, but who cares? He just goes in there. He’s got to try and abuse him.”
