Coach Brian ‘Bomac’ McIntyre says that Canelo Alvarez’s power will not be able to keep him in his fight against Terence Crawford on September 13. “Bomac”, which coaches Crawford (41-0, 31 kos) claims that Canelo (63-2-2, 39 kos) fades in the sixth or seventh round. Once this happens, “Bomac” says it will be a “wrap” for Crawford, who will then rule the rest of the struggle.
Canelo will defend his super -mid -mid -mid -unquestionable championship against Crawford at the Allegiating Stadium in Las Vegas. The event will be displayed live on Netflix.
The cracking resistance of Canelo
“I do not give AF *** on this power. How can the power be overcome? Time,” said coach Brian ‘Bomac’ McIntyre a Ring Magazine When asked if he is worried about the power of Canelo Alvarez for his Terence Crawford fighter. “This power will not be able to keep you throughout the fight. Look.”
Crawford will have to do a better job to prevent Canelo’s punch than in his latest fight against Israil Madrimov on August 3, 2024. Of the 84th Madrimov fist, 65 of them were punches. It connected with a higher percentage than Crawford, from 31% to 22%. How much this was attributed to inactivity and the age of the outbreak is unknown.
“Madrimov gave Crawford trouble. At 154, he gave him problems. At 168, he is different,” said the fighter Gabe Rosado on YouTube.
“Sun slows between six and seven,” Bomac said on Canelo. “Slow, this is a wrap. I saw him slow down in the back rounds, and I saw his ** out in the mailbox.”
Canelo still showed a lot of power in the subsequent rounds, 10, 11 and 12 in his last two fights against William Scull and Edgar Berlanga.
“Canelo’s power was relentless, even in the rounds of the championship. In rounds 10 and 11, 50% of its power features was still landing, supporting Berlanga on the ropes,” said journalist Brian Campbell at CBS Sports.

A search for respect
“Sparring training and partners, who do not mean anything when you step on this ring,” Bomac said. “I feel that these people do not respect the knowledge and do not respect the skills because we are from Omaha, Nebraska. Nothing great went out of Omaha, in terms of boxing. We can go outside (Canelo) in a couple of weeks and then return. In my heart, I feel that they do not respect us,” Bomac said.
If Crawford can defeat Canelo on September 13, people will respect it and the “Bomac” more. Crawford may continue to struggle to show some fans, as many believe that 35-year-old Canelo has shown signs of decline since his unanimous loss of decision to Dmitry Bivol on May 7, 2022. Canelo has experienced a knockout drought in his last seven fights.
