Amy Poehler a stunning ex-husband Will Arnett When she appeared as a guest on her podcast, triggering an unexpected reunion.
As fans “Smartless” know, arnett and cohosts Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes Take turns picking up their guests and leaving the other two in the dark with their choice. For the episode on Monday, April 21, Hayes Poehler introduced by listing her qualifications – which was still surprising to Arnett.

Poehler Jokes Cohosts talks about how ‘weird’ is on podcast Arnett
Arnett allegedly asked Poehler to be on “smartless” in the past, including for their journey – he refused.
“Well, I wanted to wait until you made 250 episodes to see if this thing was real,” said Poehler. “I usually put something five years until I try it.”
The discourse around Poehler’s appearance stimulated Bateman to ask Hayes who had tried to “float” the idea of having her on the podcast from Arnett.
“What are you talking? Why do you have to float anything past anyone? Guys, nice, by the way, very welcome. Nice to see you all,” Poehler crashed. “I mean Jesus, you all talk about how weird is that I’m here. Hello, I’m your guest. Nice to see you. Happy to be here.”
Before entering the interview, Hayes briefed the audience – and his sister, Tracey – on Arnett and Poehler’s relationship.
“You were married and now you’re not and it’s been years and years and everything goes swimming,” explained Hayes, winning laughter from the group.
Bateman, for his part, asked Arnett and Poehler how they first met before questioning, “We’re going to go into it. When he first started breaking a bone?”

Arnett remembers Poehler’s father’s name dropping him to strangers
Remembering a trip to visit the hometown of Massachusetts Poehler, Arnett noted that her father would tell strangers about the Saturday night live Alum career.

Arnett was highly praised for Poehler’s parenting skills, explaining that he was trying to emulate his strategy in raising their two sons.
“I have to try very hard – Amy you’re really good at this and you help me do this in conjunction with you – to remember listening to what they say and not trying to set what I think, ‘you need this, you need that,” he said. “To sit and listen to what your child is trying to say. Encourage them, as much as they can, to talk. I don’t come by naturally because that’s not how I grew up.”

Arnett remembers seeing Poehler for the 1st time in 1996
While Arnett and Poehler began dating in 2000, the exes crossed first routes four years earlier when she was performing with an improvised comedy group. As she re -held her past with the Upright Citizens brigade, Poehler explained that she traveled to New York City with the group.
“Will, I don’t want this to be uncomfortable for you, but I was dating Matt the best At the time, “said Poehler, that Arnett quoted him,” I knew it! “

Arnett Gushes He ‘Very Proud’ of Dynamic Coparenting with Poehler
At the second -holding of Poehler’s appearance with Bateman and Hayes, Arnett reflect on his choparenting relationship with his ex-wife.
“I’m really proud of it. Of course, things take a minute because everyone is kind of adaptation to what it is. I’m also very proud of it, certainly as parents, what we’ve been able to do. That has been very important to both of us. I’m really lucky to have her as a partner like this,” Gust Arnett Gushed. “There are not a lot of people I talk to is more than I talk to, which is strange, you know what I mean. But it’s great. I feel very lucky.”
