Dave Allen campaigns a hard campaign for a fight against the ex -WBC heavy weight champion Deontay Wilder. Currently promoted by Eddie Hearn, Allen (24-7-2, 19 kos) believes that he can beat “The bronze firefighter”, and hopes he will accept the fight.
Wilder has other ideas. He is interested in fighting Anthony Joshua, Oleksandr Usyk, Andy Ruiz or Francis Ngannou if he is victorious in his reconstruction struggle next month against Tyrell Anthony Hernon on June 27. These would be the important paid days for Deontay.
Wilder’s PPV days are over
The 39-year-old Deontay (43-4-1, 42 kos) desperately tries to keep his career alive after spending 1-3 in his last four fights. He has worn his welcome to the main PPV event with his consecutive losses in Riyadh to Joseph Parker and Zhilei Zhang.
Allen (24-7-2, 19 kos) is a heavyweight at the British domestic level throughout the race that attracted a lot of attention with his fifth round of the Johnny Fisher perspective on May 17 in London. He wants to use this victory to speak in a paying struggle against Deontay.
“I think I can beat him. I spoke to Eddie (Hearn). We would like to do it by the end of the year if we can,” said Dave Allen to The ring On his interest in fighting the former WBC heavy weight champion, Deontay Wilder.
The 39 -year -old Wilder has lost three of his last four fights and will face Herndon little known in Wichita, Kansas. It is very unlikely that Deontay will be interested in fighting another non-container like Dave Allen to do a favor. There is no money in a struggle of this nature, unless Turki Alshikh wants to imply. He probably will not do it because it is a low -level struggle.
“Deontay Wilder will have to do -Meu Google at some point and find out who I am,” said Allen. “But when I have a look, he probably thinks it would be an easy struggle. So maybe it can happen. I have a contract for two fights. So I would like two constant fights. Let me get my money.”
Allen should focus on more realistic goals, such as Frazier Clarke, Fabio Wardley, Moses Itauma or David Adeleye. Even with Delontay’s career essentially finished, he remains outside the Allen League and will not take note. Wilder is already rich with estimated net value in $ 30 million. He will not be interested in this type of low payment scrap to help Allen.
“Don’t moan for some kind of boxing that should be easy. Let me -Meet my money, and then I will dust Wilder. I’m going to put anyone. Don’t really bother me,” said Allen.
