Wendell Pierce thought he made the right call by not reaching out Laurence Fishburne Before playing Perry White in the new Superman Film.

Fishburne, 64, and Pierce have both portrayed Daily Planet’s leading editor Perry White in the last decade. Fishburne played the DC Comics character in 2013 Steel manwho also starred Henry Cavill as the title hero and Amy Adams as Lois Lane. Fishburne re -reported his role for 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Pierce took the role in James GunnInterpretation of Superman. The cast included David Corenswet Like Superman, Rachel Brosnahan Like Lois Lane, Hoult nicholas Like the Luthor villain and more.
Superman is full of troublesome turns, turns and unexpected scenes, including a series of famous gameos that will make every comic book love happy. Pierce added that he felt like his Superman movie “grabbed the comics sense more.”
He explained, “(Fishburne) was much more serious. From starting (our film), when you see Krypto, you know what you are in.”
Pierce, before joining the DC universe, admitted that “was not aware of how large the franchise was.”

The Elsbeth Star shared that comic book fans have contacted him on the street who have shared their delight over the new film.
“It’s really great. The effect that comics have, there’s a world that I wasn’t aware of,” he said. “I didn’t give him his full respect and weight. Of course, they have fans, but no, they have a bandom I didn’t really expect.”
Pierce added that he really appreciated it when the fans “educated” on the Comic Book Kingdom.

Pierce was teasing that he told Gunn about that particular blot line “in case” he needed another story. Following the success of Superman Gunn, a sequel has been in Greenlit. If asked, Pierce would not rule out a return.
“It’s up to him. I’m in the world,” he said. “Let’s see what happens.”
