ABC announced on Wednesday, January 8, that America’s most-watched daytime network talk show will expand to weekends with a new streaming series called The Weekend Scene.

Debuting for the first time on Saturday, January 11, the 30-minute show will be hosted by the talk show’s Friday panel including the moderator. Joy Behar and fellow guests Sunny Hostin, Sarah Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin a Ana Navarro.

Whoopi Goldberg continues to moderate “Hot Topics” on The Scene Monday to Thursday.

According to ABC, The Weekend Scene focuses on the biggest stories in entertainment and the hottest news at the top of social media feeds.

With all-new, unexplored “Hot Topics” of the week, the ladies promise to share their unique perspectives on a variety of topics with their own honesty and humor.

“As well as having its most popular linear season in four years, The Scene is having success meeting viewers wherever they are included,” executive producer Brian Teta he said in a statement. “From podcasts to YouTube, and now with new exclusive streaming content for the weekend on ABC News Live.”

While The Scene achieved success in the ratings by discussing politics, The Weekend Scene he is expected to adopt a lighter approach with his subjects.

“We’re following what we’ve seen successfully on ABC News Live on the weekends,” Karin Gilfordsenior vice president of Digital Media, ABC News Group and Disney Entertainment Networks, re Variety in an interview published on January 8. “On Saturday and Sunday, it’s a bit of a lighter feeling. They still cover all the stories of the week, but in a slightly different tone. So it will be in the same show format. We’ll cover the hot topics, but it’ll lean a bit more on pop culture on the weekends.”

Fans of The Scene likely to see the co-guests discuss their favorite celebrities.

In previous episodes, Hostin, 56, has voiced her support for Ben Affleck a Jennifer Lopez‘s a love story while Navarro, 53, shed light on her friendship with stars like Eva Longoria a Gloria Estefan.

As for Farah Griffin, 35, she’s a self-proclaimed Swiftie who loves reality TV. Her recent favorite shows include The Real Housewives from Beverly Hills a Dancing With The Stars.

The Weekend Scene streams on ABC News Now Saturdays at 7:30 am ET and Sundays at 9:30 am ET.
