Why Dierks Bentley and his wife Cassidy Black sleep in separate beds

Dierks Bentley and his wife, Black cassidyNo longer sleeping in the same bed – or even in the same room.

The country singer, 49, broke his sleeping arrangement with his spouse, also 49, during his Tuesday, September 2, an appearance on the “BobbyPodcast, revealing why he decided to get separate beds.

“I’m the most horrific sleep of the world,” explained Bentley, adding later, “My wife will be like, how would you sleep last night? And we’re not sleeping in the same room at the moment anymore.”

Bentley said he is the kind of person “to be located exactly the right way.”

“I think about the process of going to sleep, and suddenly she will be hopping,” he continued. “I’m like, ‘You’ve fed up. You’re already out?’ She is already sleeping like that.

Bentley chose to have separate beds and black “years ago.”

“I decided to separate a church and state and get rid of our bed and I have two platform beds and two box sources and two mattresses. I have my own duvet, it has its duvet, there’s a clear line. You can see the floor between her bed and my bed,” he added. “So it’s like an independent suspension. Why would you have a truck with leaf springs when you can get an independent suspension? So it can move around everything she wants. And if you feel you really need extra sleep, you can kind of push her bed a little further over.”

However, he and black have run into another problem with their sleeping arrangement.

“Lately, she’s, because I’m so animal, it’s terrible. She’s like, she sleeps on the couch now,” he said. “It’s like, there’s an extra room we have and so goes to sleep there. And even last night, we’re like, we have to get this back on track when I get off the road. We have to go back to the same room.”

Bentley concluded, “We’ve never had TV in our bedroom, just put one in. I have an old recliner my dad there that my mum didn’t want. So it’s a nice health and wellness setup we went on. So we’re going to try to move it back this year. It’s a big plan.”

Bentley and Black met at Middle School and dated on and away throughout and after their high school years before they escaped in December 2005.
