Newcastle United has apologized for a video scene by throwing his new third kit that “could cause involuntarily offense.”
A video with musician Sam Fender and a series of Newcastle Stars Past and Present was published on Monday that launched the New Kit release.
But this video was removed from the club’s social networking channels on Tuesday before a version published with the scene in omnies.
A publication in X (before Twitter) of the club read: “The reaction to our new third kit with Adidas was special, but the shot video contained a scene that could be unnoticed offensively. We apologize for it.

Why did NewCastle apologize?
Newcastle edited the video and apologized because of a scene in which a fan is seen that he had a black and white version of the Japanese imperial flag with the club ridge in the middle.
The flag began to be used by the military in the 19th century and was flown during the imperialist expansion of Japan, which saw the country occupying Korea and areas of China.
In 1905, Japan occupied Korea as a protectorate, and later as a colony from 1910 to the end of World War II in 1945. Thousands of Koreans were exploited and forced to work during the Japanese government, and the flag is associated with many southern Korea with war and oppression crimes.
The reputation of the flag is also linked to World War II, when it became the flag of the Japanese navy. Japanese troops occupied much of Asia during this period and committed war crimes against local people.
By 2020, South Korea requested that the flag be banned from stages at the Tokyo Olympic Games, although the problem was presented, as the parties were held a year later and predominantly without fans due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Newcastle will play two preseason games in South Korea before the 2025-26 campaign, facing an 11th League K on July 30 and Tottenham on August 3.
It is also said that the Magpies are closing the signature of the South Korean Teach-Sofon Bluewings South Korean Park.
When Newcastle launched your third kit?
Following the start of the initial video, Newcastle released his third kit on Tuesday, causing fans to get on their short sleeve and long sleeve.

“It welcomes the Adidas Trefoil logo, the t -shirt has a stitched club crest and a knitted hill and a knit dagger and an EQT Adidas. The kit is completed with shorts and sea socks, accentuated with three signature stripes details and a clean record of orange shots for a visual statement.”

Who will play Newcastle in the preseason?
The Magpies begin their preseason at Celtic on July 19, before facing the Arsenal in Singapore eight days later.
This is followed by the matches in Korea, with the game against K-League XI that took place in Suwon and the meeting with the Tottenham held in the Stadium of the World Cup in Seoul.
