Khloé Kardashian opens for his special bond with ex Tristan ThompsonBrother, Ami.
The good American Cofounder, 41, shared on the episode Wednesday, July 30, “Khloé in Wonder Land” podcast that she had “chosen” to be an Amari carer, noting that the 18-year-old was “very disabled” due to Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, “the form of epilepsy.” As a result, “he can’t walk or talk,” said Khloé.
Khloé said she had been involved in the care of Amari since Tristan’s mother, Andrea. died in January 2023.
“Andrea was the only carer for Amari and they lived in Canada. When Tristan’s mother died a few years ago, we, Tristan, my whole family – died with Amari back with us to the United States,” he said.

Khloé explained, “Tristan is in the NBA and is in a different condition, literally, every other day or every few days, and it is not conducive to Amari to be on those many aircraft. Amari has a handful of hits a day with the kind of epilepsy he has.”
“So Amari stays in La with me and I’ve chosen to take care of him and be there for him because he is not good he was traveling,” he continued. “California weather is so good for Amari, and I love having Amari as part of my family.”
Khloé said she employed two “stunning carer” to help look after Amari. “We want to give Amari the best, most beautiful life we know how. And it deserves it,” the Kardashian Seren says.
Khloé and Tristan, 34, started dating in September 2016. They welcomed a true girl, 7, in April 2018 in the middle Tristan cheat scandal. The couple eventually divided in June 2021, although they welcomed Tatum’s son, 3, by proxy in July 2022 and remained committed to the copying of their little ones.
On Wednesday’s podcast, Khloé explained why she remains committed to looking after Amari, although she is no longer with Tristan. According to the star, it’s less to do with the ball player and more for his bond with his late mother.
“When I met Tristan and his family, as, nine years ago, Andrea and I became such good friends. I had such a great relationship with Andrea and I would help him with Amari, medically,” Khloé explained. “She would have questions, she would need some doctors, and I would help with that. I was very involved in all her medical appointments when Andrea was here.”
Khloé continued, “I also know how much Amari means for Andrea and died because she had a sudden heart attack. I existed in a relationship or not Tristan, I still have this family that I have spent so many years with, I have such links with them, so that my relationship with Andrea has nothing to do with Thristan.
Khloé also opened for an Amari bond with her and two Tristan children, as well as his relationship with the wider Kardashian-Jenner clan.
“I think it’s so important to my children, my nieces and nephews, to be open to all kinds of people in the world,” he said. “I think he teaches compassion for everyone, understands. He opens their minds to see, ‘Wow, Amari is certainly disabled, but it’s also just like us at the same time.'”
He added, “And I love seeing how Amari lights up when he is around the children. He can’t speak orally, but … if you know him well enough, he can definitely express himself and you see the glimmer in his eyes.”
“He’s such an amazing, amazing young man, and I’m so proud and honored to have Amari in my life,” Khloé concluded.
