Bachelor aum Bekah Martinez reveals why she has not shaved her legs for seven years.
In Tuesday, July 8, Instagram Post, Martinez, 30, shared a picture of a recent message he recently read, “Your face does not match your fluffy legs.”
“Must gross out,” continued the message, referring to Longtime Martinez’s love, Leonard GraystonShe shares three children with them including the daughter of Ruth, 6, and her sons Franklin, 5, and Ernesto, 21 months.
In a long slide show, Martinez responded that she is her body, chosen.

“I started sneaking my mother’s razors in 3rd grade. I remember praying to God that he would have pulled all my hair from the neck,” wrote Martinez. “Family, friends, and even teachers and coaches would tease lightly when any of my jet black leg stubble was growing out. It seemed harmless but continued to reinforce that my body’s hair was wrong.”
Martinez continued, “I stopped shaving when I was pregnant with my first child. I wanted my daughter (and my future sons) see that hair on a girl’s body is normal. Not shameful. Not gross. I wanted to show that body hair is not masculine. Because I am a woman. And so my body’s hair is feminine.”
“It was not just for my children,” he explained. “It was for me. I wanted to work consciously through the abomination that I had in my natural body. I still don’t love my body’s hair. And in some locations, I feel that people stared and felt ashamed. But the feeling has so much less power over me than it used to.”
He finished, “And when Ruth points and says, ‘Mum, my legs look like yours,’ without an ounce of shame, it’s all worth it.”

As for his fiancé? “And for the record, Gray went to a Liberal Arts College in Oregon, so he has had his fair share of gross women without a razor,” headed Martinez his job.
