Turns out 9-1 Viewers failed to see the triangle of love between Oliver Stark, Connie Britton and Peter Krause.
For those who need refresher, season 1 showed Us Buck (Stark) goes on a date with Abby (Britton) which led to her performing tracheostomy when she tagged on bread. The Bobby episode (Krause) showed up to check Buck in hospital.
“I was in a hospital bed because 9-1-1, Abby Connie Britton was at my bedside. And, RIP, Bobby Nash is walking in, and the original plan was that there would reveal to Internal television On Wednesday, May 14. “I remember at the time like, ‘No, what do you mean? No, that’s Buck and Abby. You can’t.'”
Stark did not support the idea Bringing Bobby to the mix with Buck and Abby but luckily, the idea was broken before he arrived at the show.
“I was really, so that it was my own relationship, against her, so I’m glad he didn’t work out. I’m glad we never went down that road,” he added. His Gostar Aisha Hinds agreed, saying, “That would follow very strongly (feelings).”
Instead of exploring a connection with Abby, Bobby Found love with Athena (Angela Bassett))). The fictional couple went strong when the ABC series shook things after eight seasons by killing Bobby in a chapter in April.
“I don’t even know what the show would be like without them,” Bassett, 66, told people in March, a month before the death broadcast. “It’s hard to imagine.”
After the show faced a backlash for killing Bobby, Krause, 59, released a statement on leaving after eight seasons.
“I have heard that many fans are upset by this loss and they have the right to be. It is a loss. Having said that, it was more than a bold creative choice on a bold show. Bobby Nash was written in sacrifice and was built for this,” Krause wrote in a statement. “First Responders risk their lives in the job so that others can see another day. Her arc story honors them. We at 9-1-1 greet all the amazing men and women who do these dangerous jobs and strive to keep us safe.”
According to Showrunner Tim Minear, 9-1 Not in a hurry to come Instead of Bobby.
“I’m not solving that problem immediately for the rest of this season,” he told Internal television in April. “There is a temporary captain there that is not going to be the captain going forward, but the last three episodes are not about who is in the Bobby chair. The last three episodes relate to that chair are empty.”
Minear noted in a separate interview with Diversity that the two special parts “contagion” not the last appearance of krause this season. “
“I still think people are holding on their seats and excited when Athena lands a plane on the motorway or a ship is capping – but after eight years, it felt like, if we have any hope of creating stories going forward with real poles, then someone has to die,” explains why it “makes sense” to kill. “If you track his character’s tragic arc, where he started, and how he came to La looking for reconciliation, he makes a kind of tragic sense to his character in a way that wouldn’t be for another character.”
Minear concluded: “But also, I didn’t want to go small. Not that none of the characters was small, but Bobby’s death affects the story of each character in a way that another death from another character wouldn’t really.”
