Some of Hollywood’s most respected actresses went head to head in the Golden Globe Awards 2025.

I’m Still Here Fernanda Torres won the trophy for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama during a ceremony on Sunday, January 5, at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.

“My god, I didn’t prepare anything … This is such an amazing year for female performances, so many actresses here that I admire so much,” Torres, 59, said during her acceptance speechwhile dedicating the award to her mother. “You have no idea, she was here 25 years ago and this is, like, proof that art can continue.”

It was five other nominees in the category, incl Pamela Anderson for The Last Showgirl, Angelina Jolie for Maria, Nicole Kidman for baby girl, Tilda Swinton for The Room Next Door a Kate Winslet for Lee.
