In the Australian state Victoria, the main hunt for the shooting of the dead two police officers on his South Selo property continues, and the third injury.
Police have confirmed that Freeman’s Desi, a conspiracy theorist and a self -attributed “sovereign citizen” who rejects the government and the law, is looking for.
The 56 -year -old Freeman has a long history with the police, and his hatred of power was well recorded in online messages, videos and court documents.
He called the police “terrorist bandits”, compared them to the Nazis and tried to arrest the magistrate during the trial.
Less than a week before the shooting of two police in the rape, his wife Mali said to her neighbor that she was concerned about his behavior, Age reports.
The locals in the city told reporters that the father of two was good and polite, but then, during the pandemic, his behavior became wrong and his views are more extreme.
Freeman – Born Desmond Christopher Filby – developed a public profile for his views on the health crisis.
He refused to wear facial masks, rejected vaccinations and more open about his distrust of government restrictions and closing – from which Victoria had particularly long and strict.
“He was against everything related to this,” said one local The Sydney Morning Herald.
“He moved from being just an ordinary suburban guy … The ordinary dude you saw at a local foggy club constantly to a pretty strange guy. He fell a little rabbit hole and like it disappeared and left the radar.”
Australian media reports that Freeman characterizes himself as a “sovereign citizen”, who usually believes that they are insured against state rules.
In Australia, the movement saw a boom during the closing of 2020. Police Commissioner Victoria Shane Patton said at the time that the officers forced “to break the windows of cars and pull people to give details” after they refused to answer questions or show the documents.
The Australian Federal Recording of Police since 2023 states that the movement was “the main ability to inspire violence”.
In 2021, Freeman participated in an attempt that Prime Minister Daniel Andrews tried to betray.
Freeman was arrested outside the trial in Victoria, where about 250 anti -government participants of the rally gathered.
In the video about the arrest, he can hear, as the crowd say: “They will make some (explicatory) about me because I rose to them.”
The betrayal was thrown away.
Freeman was in court and leaves the trial for years, mostly on charges of driving a car, some of which were dropped.
His behavior in court showed contempt for power. “Shame on you!” Last year, he shouted at the judge, who refused to refuse to drive the car.
Freeman claimed he was under duress when the police pulled him up and acting in self -defense, taking them off his phone when he left.
He claimed that they were experiencing that they could try to arrest him, which would be “attack and abduction.”
“I felt threatening and hunting …. even a police officer or a police car … It is like an Auschwitz survived, seeing a Nazi soldier,” said Freeman, said Freman, said Court documents show.
In the same file, he shows that he refers to the police as “terrible Nazis”, “Gestapo” and “terrorist bandits”.
In one of his more sensational speeches, he tried to arrest the magistrate and the police during the dispute over public access to the National Park.
“You act oppressing,” he said. “You have to stand up and are now in my care and arrest. You can’t leave.”
He then ordered a police officer to arrest the magistrate, and when the officer refused, Freman said he was also under arrest.
They ignored it.
Neighbors say Freeman and his family live on a 20-hectare bus on the outskirts of the rape.
The locals told reporters that they believed that he lived with several people on the property, in some connection, fixed by the big gates with security cameras.
Australian media say police officers were on the bus to look for it when they were shot. Freeman was the last time it was seen to escape into the thick Bushland nearby.
Police say they understand that he is an experienced Bushman – or a man familiar with the desert – which is a call for hunting for a search party.
“It is well broken in the bushes, and there are caves, so I think it will be a while before they find it,” the neighbor said at ABC.
Police warned that Freeman was “strongly armed” and “Sydney Morning Herald” reports that they were believed to stole the weapons of police officers, which he allegedly shot.
The frimans – Desi, Mali and their children – lived in the area of the rapel for many years and were known around a small community. Mali teaches music to children and works in a supermarket.
In 2018, the family participated in the Channel Nine program, where they complained about their “hell neighbors” in previous property, which was intimidated and destroyed.
“Mali and her family are very good, very beautiful people,” the neighbor said in the program, whose grandchildren conducted music lessons from Mali.
