Hardik Pandya returns to Mumbai Indians by playing XI after sitting in the first game against Chennai Super Kings due to a ban on the slow rate last season.
He has also returned to his first time at IPL 2024. The Tot-Ronda faced a hostile reception of the same stands that he had encouraged him from the whole two previous seasons with Gujarat Titans.
However, it has changed a lot since last year, as it has appeared as a national hero, playing an important role in the triumph of India in the T20 World Cup of the ICC T20 2024 and the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Pandya hoped to help me bounce a 4 wicket defeat at the hands of CSK. On the other hand, GT, who lost the tournament workshop against PBKs by 11 runs, also hoped to win the game.
Speaking at The Toss, Mi Skipper Hardik Pandya said they are not aware of the exact nature of the pitch and that the dew factor made them for the first time. Said:
“We will first. The simple reason is that we do not know how the field will be played.”
In the meantime, GT Shubman Gill’s pattern said they would rapidly evaluate and do a good job. Said:
“Batted first many times here, so nothing changes us. It is about assessing the conditions and seeing what goal we can establish, and if we pursue, this is how to reach this goal. We have the same team, we could see a change with the sub-IMPACT sub. We want to have a left combination of the right (in the operators).
