Where was ‘Echo Valley’ filmed?

Pearce explained the process of finding a location that was perfect for serving as the fake Echo Valley.
“It took a long, long time to find that location,” he said. ”We felt that we had seen every horse farm in New Jer, and they didn’t have all the things we were looking for, because we needed a place that looked ideal enough that you understood why Julianne’s character wanted to keep hold of it. A large part of Moore and Sweeney’s scenes were filmed on a farm at Delaware Township, New Jersey.

What is ‘Echo Valley’?
Echo Valley is the name of the farm where Kate Garrett (Moore) works as a horse instructor, but is struggling with the maintenance of the place after her wife’s death.
She is looking to her/ex-husband, Richard Garrett (Maclachlan), for help with her finances. Kate reveals that her daughter and Richard, Claire Garrett (Sweeney), are struggling with drug dependence, and she has spent a large part of her wealth paying for Claire’s rehabilitation stops.
Claire visits her mother on the farm and her ex-girlfriend, Ryan (Donovan), shows to ruin their reunion. Claire leaves the farm with Ryan and later returns to reveal her to kill her during a dispute. Kate helps him remove a dead body wrapped in a blanket. After the alleged murder, a drug dealer named Jackie Lawson (Gleeson) shows to demand money that Claire owes him.

Later, Kate is growing anxiously after Claire disappeared from the farm. When Kate is going to look for Claire, she’s stunning finds her with Ryan, revealing he’s not actually died. Ryan pushes Kate before leaving with Claire. After Kate recovered from the fall, she returns home to find Jackie there to ask her about the body she helped to hide.
Jackie reveals that a dead body was a man named Greg Kaminski, who died from an overdose after buying drugs from Ryan. After Kate’s drugs, Jackie tells her of his master plan to burn the barn for insurance money. She finishes doing, only to be questioned later by police for human remains found on the property. Police also question Jackie.
It is revealed that Kate planted the dead body of Greg in the barn before burning it down. He also deliberately left a piece of the road flare that Jackie bought to burn the house down. Ultimately, police conclude that Greg died of drugs supplied to him by Jackie, and Jackie eventually came to light the house on fire to remove the evidence.
Ultimately, Jackie is charged for the crime, and Kate is walking for free. At the end of the film, Claire comes back to the farm after Kate hired a crew to clean the ashes from the fire.
