Wheel of Fortune star Vanna White was surprised after social media users called her out I’m Nico Santa Pietro “thirst trap”.
Last month, White, 67, shared video on Instagram in which she and Santa Pietro were seen in the kitchen as they prepared a chicken dish. After fans used the slang phrase to describe the 30-year-old real estate agent, White appeared unfamiliar with the term’s meaning during Thursday’s episode of the long-running game show.
“I recently posted a video of my son Nick and I cooking and it got a lot of feedback,” the TV personality told her co-host Ryan Seacrest as the audience cheered.

“I don’t understand,” White shrugged.

“The kids call Nick a thirst trap” Seacrest, 50, explained.
The “American Idol” host told her that fans noticed that Santa Pietro was wearing a skin-tight white T-shirt in the clip.
“It must have been really tight — he went to Baby Gap to buy that shirt,” Seacrest joked. “It was very crowded and they found it surprisingly beautiful and no one knows what you cooked.”

“What did you actually do?” he asked White.
“We made Uncle Roy’s chicken,” White replied.
“Well, thank you Uncle Roy, and thank you, Nick, for that tight shirt,” Seacrest quipped.
White continued to tease that she would be releasing another video on Thursday.
“Oh boy!” Seacrest said.
– What will it be? White coyly said, to which Seacrest replied, “We’ll find out soon enough.”

The “Vanka speaks” author later shared another video of herself cooking food from Santa Pietro, which was met with an equally enthusiastic response from her followers.
After White uploaded the first cooking video in December, fans quickly took to the comments section to rave about her “handsome” son and ask about his relationship status.
“Bathroom, where have you been hiding Nick? He is GORGEOUS,” one person wrote.

Another commented: “Your son is hot!!!”

In an interview with entertainment tonight Nico said the attention was “flattering”.

“Obviously, I was really impressed by her fans because they were nice and said all kinds of interesting things in the comments,” he said.
Santa Pietro, who works for The Agency, a real estate company owned by Maurizio Umansky, ex-husband of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star. Kyle Richards, added: “I’ve always loved being in front of the camera and I work really hard on my social media. It’s a big part of what I do, so it feels natural and good.”

However, Santa Pietro was adamant that the praise was not in his head.
“People see me as such a heartthrob and they crave me and all that. I like it all, but at the same time it’s really good to remember the meaningful things in life and just go back to it, doing a lot of charity work, hard work every day,” he told the publication.

White added, “He’s such a good kid!”
She continued: “I’ve always taught both my children that you have to work hard to get things, it’s not just handed to you. And he does it.”
In addition to Santa Pietro, white shares daughter Gigi, with her ex-husband, restaurant owner George Santa Pietro.

While some fans expressed their hopes of finding love with Santa Pietro or setting it up with his daughters, he confirmed that he is already in a relationship.
“I have a wonderful girlfriend,” he told ET. “She is an absolute sweetheart. She is a singer and songwriter. We have been together for a year. She wrote a song about me. It is very nice that she did it.
He added that his girlfriend, Isaiah, who wrote a song about him called “Karaoke,” “apparently discovered the heartthrob before America.”
White confirmed that she approves of Isaiah, saying, “She’s so sweet, she’s really, down to earth, loving, giving.”
Nikko’s viral attention could also potentially lead to a few more TV appearances.

“I would love to,” White said when asked if fans were expecting to see Santa Pietro in Wheel of Fortune. She noted that the daughter of her former co-host Pat Sajak, Maggie Sayakhas made numerous appearances on the show, including filling in for White when she took over as host Sajak in 2020 when he underwent surgery. Maggie has also served as the show’s social media correspondent since 2021.
“I don’t know how well I would play the game, but I would like to be involved at some level,” Niko added.
