Charlie Kirk was one of the loudest conservative activists and media in the United States and President Donald Trump’s trusted ally.
Kirk, 31, who, according to the President, died after firing at Utah’s college on Wednesday, was known for conducting open -air debates on campuses across the country.
In 2012, at the age of 18, he co -founded Turning Point USA (TPUSA), a student organization aimed at distributing conservative ideals to liberal colleges.
His social media and the daily podcast of the same name were often shared by his clips, which discuss with students on issues such as transgender identity, climate change, faith and family values.
The son of an architect who grew up in the suburbs in Chicago in Chicago, Kirk studied near Chicago before refusing to devote himself to political activity. He unsuccessfully applied for West Point, the US Elite Military Academy.
Kirk often referred to the language cheek to the absence of college with participation in discussions with students and scientists on esoteric topics such as postmodernism.
His role in TPUSA flew after President Barack Obama was re -elected in 2012.
Kirk visited the country, speaking at national events, many popular tea party members. Now TPUSA has sections in more than 850 colleges.
The avid public speaker, Kirk appealed to the Oxford Union earlier this year and wrote the Best-Celler 2020 Doctrine.
TPUSA played a key role in the voting efforts for Trump and other republican candidates in last year’s elections. For millennia, tens of thousands of new voters have been widely attributed to the assistance and turning Arizona for Trump.
Kirk was present at Trump’s inauguration in January in Washington, and was a regular visitor in the White House during both Trump’s position.
The president and his assistants revered the political antenna Kirk for the grassroots movement “Make America Great Again”.
He talked to the republican conventions, and last year, Donald Trump repaid his commitment, giving a big speech at the Arizona Conference.
Earlier this year, he traveled with his son Trump Donald Trump Jr. in Greenland, as then the president claimed that the United States should own the Arctic territory.
The Evangelical Christian Religion and the Kirk family – he married the former Miss Arizona, with whom he had two children – in his politics and was in the center, and he was considered both the future of conservative activity and a very polarization figure.
Perhaps the greatest tribute to his contribution to the republican politics came from Trump himself in the video, which at the beginning of the podcast kirk.
