Democratic Alliance (DA) – a coalition partner in the National Unity of South Africa (GNU) – asked why the largest party, the African National Congress (Anc), still elected all its foreign diplomats.
“It’s just not the case that the Anc received a foreign policy card and the appointment of diplomats, while they are only 39% of the party,” said the DA press, Vili Aukamp, when he called on the members of the Gnno to allow Washington to facilitate speed.
