Bournemouth striker, Antoine Semenyo, says cherries deserve a shot in European football after their first goal was good enough See Fulham.
The cherries are on the right way for their best season of the Premier League and are up to eighth place, only seven points behind the top five places and six behind Aston Villa in seventh.
With the first five places of the Premier League guaranteed a place in the Champions League next year, the eighth could be enough for a conference league classification site, provided that the CUP Newcastle League Cup and the FA CUP winners in the top seven.
Semenyo said: “Throughout the season we have been crushing and surpassing the first six teams. This small phase we are going through, losing and drawing, each team happens for this, but that is why this victory is so important.
“I feel like what we have done this year, we definitely deserve the European places.”
“This cannot happen … cannot be defended like this. It is impossible.” ❌

The manager Andoni Iraola was impressed with his side, as they won at home for the first time since January.
Evanilson should have added to the first strike of Semenyo, but the hosts had to dig and defend well, while Fulham directed the second half.
Iraola told Sky Sports: “I am very pleased with the representation. I think we needed this performance, defending our own box, authorizations, blogs, basic, games.
“Ending a clean sheet is so valuable because usually when we create possibilities score goals, this is where something has lacked in recent games and today we have been very good.

“We knew that Fulham is very good at the ball. During the first 55-60 minutes we pressed very well, but in the end you will always suffer. We had to grant a little the territory, go more compact and defend the box and deal with the crosses.
“This victory comes at the perfect time for us. Next week we have another of these games against Crystal Palace, just like Fulham who play very well, so we recover well and arrive in a good place.
“The classification has really been close to recent months so all the results will be key.”
