Ollie Watkins became the goal of Aston Villa’s Record Premier League after scoring the only goal of the game, as Unai Emery’s side came out 1-0 against Bournemouth.
Watkins scored his 75th goal from the Premier League for Villa in the sixth minute of the first half of half of half to pass over Gabriel Agbonlahor and move the side level at points with Chelsea and Newcastle.
Bournemouth stacked late after Jacob Ramsey was sent by a second offense reserved for visitors, but Emery’s side remained to keep his five best hopes.
For the cherries, the defeat leaves them in a tenth place, two points behind Brentford and Bournemouth after both parties collected victories in the battle for a possible place in the conference league.

It was a first half of Cagey on a sunny southern coast, without any of the goalkeepers not really trying during the opening exchanges.
For the hosts, who enjoyed most of the early possession, it seemed that patience was the name of the game. In the meantime, Villa seemed happy to give her time and take Bournemouth at halftime.
It took to the 24th minute to record a shot in Target, Evanilson’s head made little due to problems with EMI Martinez at the visitors’ goal.
From here, little could be separated by the two teams. But shortly before half the time, Villa began to have a spell. Marco Asensio’s low effort was in charge before Kepa saved well from the fierce head of Boubacar Kamara.
Then, in the sixth minute of the first half of half, Villa broke the deadline when Watkins applied the touch to the Cross of Morgan Rogers and the ball stood on the corner.

The second half started a little more lively, but mostly played in the same way as the first, with very little to separate the two teams.
The two executives sounded the changes as half was made, but the replacement had little impact.
However, with the remaining 10 minutes, Ramsey took his second yellow card for a free kick by David Brooks and Villa was forced to end the game.
Provoked a Renaissance of Bournemouth. Antoine Semenyo threw a shot narrowly wide before Martinez was implemented to keep the head tied to Evanilson’s goal.
Illia Zabarnyi went directly to Martinez and, in the lesion time, the head of Semenyo through the goal was dragged by Matty Cash on the line when a equalizer seemed the most likely result.
The cherries did not get the late pressure to pay by leaving the ten Villa men to take the three points and move the level with Chelsea and Newcastle.
Emery’s side has now qualified for Europe for the third successive season. But his eyes will be firmly to get an end to the first five places and a place in the Elite Club competition on the continent.
