Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli He is currently fighting a crucial battle on the health front, since he was admitted to the Akruti Health City Hospital in Thane after a high fever. But like a true sportsman, Kambli has decided to fight to keep the spirit alive as a video of the former batsman dancing to the patriotic tunes of ‘Chak-de India’ is going viral on social media.
In the viral video, Kambli can be seen standing by his hospital bed and showing off his moves to Chak-de India songs from Shah Rukh Khanthe famous movie The video of the dance has gone viral and fans are wishing the legend a speedy recovery and appreciating Kambli’s determination.

Although Kambli remains resilient to recover again, Dr. Vivek Dwivedi from the Akruti Health City Hospital has stated that he will need a good rehabilitation, which means physiotherapy and nutrition support to overcome his current situation which includes a degenerative memory due to alcoholism. Kambli will also need speech therapy as his voice is a bit slurred.
Notably, Kambli was earlier admitted to the hospital on December 21 following complaints of urinary infection and muscle cramps. After medical tests, the former Indian cricketer was also diagnosed with brain clots. Doctors have confirmed that his state of health is constantly improving.
This is not the first time that Kambli has suffered health problems. He was admitted Lilavati Hospital in 2013 after suffering a heart attack while driving his car. Later, Kambli had to suffer angioplasty in two of his blocked arteries to make a full recovery. The former Indian cricketer had represented India in 17 Tests and 104 ODIs and scored 3,561 runs in his international career.
