Watch this great movie on Amazon Prime Video before he leaves next week

Life is very complex. Whether he is trying to finish those pesky taxes the day before they are due, trying to repair that noisy faucet, drop that or throw those last 10 pounds, even the ordinary parts of life can be difficult. But for Jane Adler (Meryl Streep), her relatively simple existence like Santa Barbara’s divorce becomes much more – you guessed – is complicated when she starts sleeping with a married man. Meyers has always specialized in creating roles for actors of a certain age, and she gives three harsh parts to three actors who bring their game and here. Streep shows a softer, more vulnerable side in this film, conveying Jane’s desire that is not so secret to disappoint her hair and having some fun. It is a freely, surprisingly sexy performance by the former actress, and her joy in playing Jane is contagious.

The focus on Baldwin and Martin is not as much, but when it is, they correspond to Streep’s relaxed mood. Baldwin Lampoons his image Matinee’s idol and is not afraid to pull down and rub his botbelly for cheap laughs. Adam Martin is more upright than his romantic opponent, but he even relaxes up to Jane’s charm-his smoking scene with his new girlfriend is one of the highlights of the film.

When he sees the paramedics rushing to her room, his panic is mounting, and his dire efforts to get Lauren out of the hotel are some of the film’s funniest look.
