Following the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, a discussion on political rhetoric and its influence on recent scenes of political violence took over the Capitol hill and across the country.

While the Republicans and Democrats condemned the political violence of all species, their views differ from how inflammatory political rhetoric plays a role. Res. Richie Torres, DN.Y., said that everyone should have the right to talk freely, otherwise the democratic tradition of America may threaten.
