Mark Adair delivered an impressive opening stroke for the Giants of the Gulf in the International League (IL) T20 2025 match against Desert vipers at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Mark Adair’s dream start has Fakhar Zaman packing

Bowling the first ball of his spell, Adair produced a length delivery around the stumps that swung sharply, leaving Fakhar ZamanPakistan’s explosive batsman, completely beaten. The ball flew past the bat, ringing the middle stump in a perfect display of seam and swing. Zaman, who got 7 runs off 6 balls, including a boundary, looked taken aback by the strong inward movement and could do little to counter it. There was a touch of edge as the ball crashed into the stumps, but it didn’t detract from the brilliance of the delivery.

That first goal gave the Giants a much-needed breakthrough, putting immediate pressure on the Vipers in their pursuit. Adair’s ability to swing the ball with precision stood out as a key moment of the match. Adair followed up with a sensational maiden, further compounding the Vipers’ woes by dismissing the last-match hero, And Lawrencefor a duck
