Dubai Capitals beat MI Emirates by 1 run
As for the match result, Dubai Capitals cruised to an emphatic one-run win over MI Emirates, thanks to outstanding bowling performances from Gulbadin Naib and Olly Stone.
Fans witnessed a thrilling finish to the last ball at the Dubai International Stadium. Despite Nicholas Pooran’s brilliant 40-ball 61 for MI Emirates, his efforts fell short as the Capitals etched their name in ILT20 history with the narrowest margin of victory.
MI Emirates looked to be on their way to victory, needing just 16 runs from 15 balls. However, a remarkable comeback by the Capitals’ bowling attack turned the game around. Naib had an excellent spell, taking 3 for 13, while Stone took a crucial 2 for 14, sealing his side’s dramatic victory.
