Wanted Kohli keeps BCCI in the dark, hatred retirement to the cards?

Players will also go through DEXA examination to evaluate bone density, along with routine blood tests as part of the integral fitness evaluation. A BCCI official confirmed to Indian Express that all central hired players must complete these assessments.

“All players must suffer a preseason fitness test, it is mandatory according to the contract. These tests help the COE to understand the areas where players have to work or lack. Since there was a great pause (after the England Tests series), players received home exercises,” said BCCI.

No update of the Kohli virating fitness test

However, there is still no clarity over Kohli, who retired from the test cricket in May 2025. Kohli did not retire from T20is after the triumph of the Indian World Cup in 2024. He has been in the United Kingdom with his family since concluding the IPL in early June.

Wanted Kohli has recently shared training photos in London. Kohli and Sharma played their last international game during 2025 Champions Trophy. Team India ended with a 12 -year -old ICC Trophy Drought under Sharma’s leadership.

Virated Kohli was the second scorer in India at the tournament. He scored 218 pulls of five entries to an average of 54.50, while Sharma added 180 runs to an average of 36.00 in five games.
