Walmart, stabbed, threatens the accusation of terrorism in the mass attack in the Michigan shop

A 42-year-old man faces terrorism allegations and attacks with the intention of the murder after 11 buyers were stabbed at the Walmart supermarket in Michigan.

On Saturday afternoon, in the city of Travers City used a complex knife for five men and six women, including Walmart employee.

Victims are expected to survive at the age of 21 to 84. Suspect, Bradford James Gill, must be sent on Monday or Tuesday.

Investigators stated that the knife was random and they did not yet reveal the motive, but they said the accusation of terrorism was justified because it was believed that such a mass attack was intended to bring fear and destruction to the public as a whole.

Addressing the journalists on Sunday, the Sheriff of the Great Travers district, Michael Shi, said that the officers began to arrive at the store two minutes after the first call took place.

“At the time of the deputy’s arrival, several citizens, including the one who was armed with a pistol encountered the suspect in the parking lot and prevented him from harming further people and go away,” he said. “The deputy took the suspect in custody without additional incidents.”

He added that the suspect’s motive was “still determined”.

“Our detectives with the help of the FBI interviewed it for a long time, and it will be part of the investigation when it moves forward,” he added.

Joe Penington, Walmart press, said: “Such violence is unacceptable.

“Our thoughts with those who were injured and we are grateful for the fast actions of the first respondents.”

FBI deputy director Dan Bongin said on Saturday that the federal staff responded to any necessary support for local authorities.

The Governor of Michigan Greetchen Witmer said: “Our thoughts with the victims and society that break away from this violent violence.”

Traverse City is located about 255 miles (410 km) northwest of Detroit.
