‘Constantine’ includes Keanu Reeves at its peak

Following a collection The matrix trilogy, Reeves found another role that suited him Constantine. Granted, the character was changed to be more like Reeves himself rather than a British occult researcher from the comics. However, those changes work very well and turn John into a much more sympathetic character. Because John can see supernatural beings, he knows that demons are real and he has been fighting them most of his life. Reeves action chops became useful, as this incarnation of John favors firearms over pure magic. He is not just a credible action hero; It is very human and transferable as well. Reeves may have been like Superman’s The matrixBut John Constantine was simply a man.
Rachel Weisz is a revelation

No one should surprise that Rachel Weisz is extremely talented. She had already established herself years before Constantine released it. Her character, Angela Dodson, could have been just another cardboard maid in distress. But instead, Angela is very compelling in her grief for her recent deceased sister, Isabel, who is also played by Weisz. Angela is a police detective, and it’s not just Isabel’s death. She has been carrying a secret for decades that they both shame and intimidate her.
Weisz conveys all this in the phrases and language of the Angela body, and it is arguable that it gives a stronger performance than Reeves does. This may be Fflic Keanu Reeves, but he would also not work half without the Weisz ground persona. She is the normal person who is caught up in a supernatural conspiracy that could end the world. And no matter how amazing the film gets, Weisz adds a more realistic dimension to it.

If you’ve ever seen Jonah HexThen you know how ugly a film can get when Hollywood makes too many changes to the character of the comic book that inspired it in the first place. Constantine Make even more changes than that film, but the key difference is that the changes have led to a better film. The supernatural attitudes of the script give more talent to the action than a typical Keanu Reeves film, and somehow it all flows together quite without.
