Volcano erupted in Iceland that throws a bench out of the ground

In Iceland, the volcano was thrown by the streams of bright and orange benches – the last in a line of volcanic events in the region in recent years.

Iceland has seen about 12 eruptions since the volcanic systems on the Reykjanese Peninsula – near Reykjavik’s capital – became active again in 2021.

According to the Iceland’s meteorological office, Magma breaks through the earth’s crust, created a large crack, estimated 0.7 to 1 km long (0.4 to 0.6 miles).

Scientists have warned that eruptions in the region can last for decades and even centuries.
