The former attorney over Virginia giufwho charged The Prince Andrew of sexual abuse, shares a bid after her tragic passing.
In an interview with Piers Morgana prominent lawyer David Buys he said he hopes a disgraceful royal family member ultimately make a statement in relation to the death of Giuffre.
“I think he needs to take responsibility for what he did,” shared Boies on a chapter on Monday, April 28, from Uncensored Morgan Piers. “Virginia was always more interested in fighting the sin than attacking the sinner, and I think he would have accepted Prince Andrew taking responsibility and he would have acknowledged that. I think it’s not too late. It’s never too late.”
Giuffre died by suicide in Neeergabby, Australia on Thursday, April 24, at the age of 41, her family confirmed to People.
If Boies got his way, he would hear two words from Prince Andrew.
“I would like him to say, ‘I’m sorry,'” he explained. “I would like him to be more direct about that. I would like him to say that even if he doesn’t remember what happened, I think he needs to recognize that he obviously had sex with young women, with Jeffrey Epstein. That is, he may not remember that he was Virginia, but he cannot forget the incident. And he just needs to come clean. ”(Us Weekly reached out to Prince Andrew’s attorney for comments.)
During his latest interview, Boies also honored Giuffre for the courage he showed after being pushed to the attention of a shocking cultural and royal scandal.
“She was an extremely strong woman, who eventually came down by years of abusive in the hands of Jeffrey Epstein and then later years of abusive and verbal attacks by (his) collaborators,” he claimed Boies. “He achieved a great deal. Without her courage and without coming on, Jeffrey Epstein would probably still be abusing young women. (Her death is) a sad event but I think we should take a moment to celebrate what she achieved.”
In 2019, Giuffre made headlines around the world when he accused Epstein and Prince Andrew of sexual abuse and sex trading.
Prince Andrew denied any wrongdoing and said in the famous now November 2019 Interview with the BBC He had no memory of meeting Giuffre, despite the fact that there was a picture of the pair together when Giuffre was underage. (Epstein died by suicide in August 2019 while in prison in New York City awaiting trial on children’s sex trading charges.)
Giuffre later filed a legal case against Prince Andrew in August 2021. According to court documents obtained by Weekly USThe legal case was Settling out of court For an unveiled amount of money in February 2022.
“Prince Andrew plans to make a significant donation to Ms. Giuffre’s charity to support victims’ rights,” read the letter. “Prince Andrew has never intended to malign the character of Ms. Giuffre, and accepts that she has suffered as an established victim of abuse and as a result of unfair public attacks.”
“Prince Andrew regrets his connection with Epstein, and praises the courage of Ms Giuffre and other survivors in standing for themselves and others,” the letter continued. “He promises to show his repentance for his connection with Epstein by supporting the fight against gender trading evils, and by supporting his victims.”
