After almost two decades of heart and hope, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) He finally got his maiden Premier League India (IPL) Title, defeating Punjab Kings in a dramatic final that sent his fans to raptures. Shot kohliRCB’s face for 18 years, played a key role, marking a crucial 43 runs and brought his side to a hard victory of six runs in Ahmedabad. The long -awaited triumph caused retirement scenes in Bengaluru, with supporters lakes that dumped in the heart of the city to celebrate what was meant to be a historical and cheerful occasion. But the euphoria quickly became confusion, chaos and, in short, tragedy.
The city of Bengaluru was prepared for the celebration. The RCB squad, fresh of his historic victory, began in such a long -awaited parade of open wins by Vidhana Soudha to the M Chinnaswamy stadium, followed by major festivals. Social media sprouted with updates, and fans began to meet during the hours of the parade route in advance, and swell to a 2-3 lakh beloved, and exceeded 35,000 stadium capacity.
However, a series of conflicting ads launched the event in disorder. Bengaluru police, citing security concerns and the large scale of participation, announced the cancellation of the parade at dawn. However, many fans, unknown or skeptical of change remained in place, hoping to see their heroes. The RCB management confirmed that the parade would proceed, further feeding the confusion. The situation was aggravated by the closing of the nearby metro stations, which made the dispersal of the people almost impossible.
As the crowd headed for the stadium, the mood went from the celebration to despair. With the passes now required for the entrance and thousands of fans without tickets, the doors became suffocating points. Around four in the afternoon, as the mass of people pushed to door 3, a stampede broke out: the people fell, it was stepped on and the panic took place. In order to regain control, police resorted to a lafid burden, but the damage was made.
The consequences were dim: at least 11 people were killed, most young fans and more than 30 were injured. The Prime Minister of Karnataka announced compensation for the families of the victims and ordered a masterful investigation, but the sense of disbelief and anger among fans was palpable. What began as a time celebration for the faithful supporters of RCB ended as a very small time for the city, asking serious questions about the management of the crowd and the failures of communication.
)No one expected it, neither the Cricket Association nor the Government“, Said Prime Minister Siddaramaiah, reflecting the crash that Bengaluru took as a result of the tragedy.
The events of June 4, 2025, will be remembered not only for the long -awaited triumph of the RCB IPL, but also for the disgust that followed, an important memory of the speed with which the joy can reach the penalty when the celebration meets the chaos.

At least 7 deaths have been reported. Insensitive to continue with victory celebrations at Chinnaswamy Stadium. He spent the weekend in Paris after the victory of the PSG Champions League, there is still no lessons learned this time https://t.co/9v2wdujt2d
