The former India National Cricket Equip opened by Batsman Navjot Singh Sidhu has chosen the great modern Kohli shot as “stop captain” of India for the next tour of England.

Virated Kohli transmits to the BCCI his decision to retire testing
Kohli told the Cricket Control Board in India (BCCI) that he would announce his retirement from the test cricket before the India tour in England 2025.
This was a major blow to the BCCI and the team’s management, as recently, Rohit Sharma also announced his removal of evidence and turned away from the format, forcing the Council to look for a new captain.
And with Kohli, he is also not available for the selection of the test cricket, the Indian team of the England tour would not have a great experience. Therefore, the BCCI officials have told Kohli to reconsider his decision, and even a very influential figure had conversations with him.
However, it seems that the right side has made its decision and, apparently, has refused to take a turn in one in his retirement call call.
Former Cricter Navjot Singh Sidhu spoke of Kohli’s retirement decision, saying that his intention and motive are correct and noble, but the calendar is wrong.
Sidhu believes that Kohli’s decision to leave the cricket just before England’s tour will hurt India’s chances of winning the series of tests, as he would lose his experience.
“Virat Kohli’s decision, which he wants to withdraw, has created an agitation in the world of cricket. But the calendar and occasion are not suitable, because the pride and prestige of India are online,” Sidhu said in a video published in X.
“We head to a tour that is the hardest litmus proof even for other testing nations. Why do I say Kohli can be our” knight in the bright armor “in England? Because he has the experience, especially after Rohit Sharma’s departure. Can’t send an uninformed side to England,” he added.
Navjot Singh Sidhu recalls Kapil Dev -unil Gavaskar interaction
Navjot Singh Sidhu also recalled an interaction between Kapil Dev and Sunil Gavaskar of the 1987 Hate World Cup and said:
“ In the 1987 World Hate Cup, which was my debut tournament, Sunil Gavaskar was with a high fever. Captain Kapil Dev asked Gavaskar if he was in shape and the answer came: “ Skip 50-50 ”. Kapil Dev, with a smile on his face, said: “ Sunil Gavaskar at 50 percent is much better than in this world.
Navjot Singh Sidhu said that Kohli should be named Indian stop captain for the next 6-7 months, as he will give Shubman Gill, whom he will probably be handed over to test captaincy, some time to settle.
“It should be the stop captain of India for the next six and seven months and direct India on the front,” he added.
