Villa is again lost while Grimsby serves another shock

Aston Villa’s poor start to the season continued with a League Cup defeat in Brentford, while League Two Side Grimsby Town won the Manchester United with the victory at Sheffield on Wednesday.

The sailors are in the hat for the fourth round thanks to a goal from Jaze Kabia against the Owls Troubles, whose fans boycotted the game in continuous protest by the club’s property.

Kabia headed from the corner to put the league side lower than the fourth round for the first time since the 2001-2 season.

Villa was in charge of the bees with the first goal of the season when Harvey Elliott took advantage of a loose play on the back to say goodbye.

But Aaron Hickey, from the back, Scottish, was leveled with a voucher to send the tie to penalties.

John McGinn and Matty Cash had their penalties saved by Hakon Valdimarsson and bees won 4-2 shooting.

Crystal Palace, winners of last year’s FA Cup, also has to go to a shootout after Millwall was even in the last minute and forcing a 1-1 tie.

Chris Richards had put the Eagles ahead just for Ryan Leonard to start a corner for the championship.

However, Walter Benítez saved Tristan Crama and Aidomo Emakhu in his debut for the club to send the side of the Premier League.
