Footage on a mobile phone appeared, which appears to be contrary to Israel’s account on why on March 23, soldiers opened fire on the ambulance and fire truck, killed by 15 rescue workers.
The video was posted by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRC), which states that it was obtained from the phone of the murdered paramedic.
It shows vehicles moving in the dark with headlights and emergency lights – before getting under the fire.
The initial Israeli Protection statement (IDF) states: “Several non -organized vehicles were found suspiciously to move to IDF troops without headlights.
Earlier, the surviving paramedic told the BBC that ambulances were clearly marked and had their own inner and external lights.
In response to a new video, IDF said the BBC: “All claims, including documentation that is distributed about the incident, will be carefully and deeply understood to understand the sequence of events and processing of the situation.”
