Vanessa Grimaldi Going honestly for her two and a half-year-old son, Winston-and what it’s like to be a mother.
“No terrible position yet,” said Grimaldi, 37, Weekly US + Maidenform Reality Star Star Awards Party on Tuesday, April 22, at the highlights at NYC. “It’s two and a half, it goes on three. So we may have completely skipped the stage.”
Grimaldi noted that she was “crying all day yesterday” before traveling to New York without her son.
“It’s a very big deal, but it feels good,” he added. “This is my start to make a little more Vanessa time away from home.”
The star of the bachelor’s nation Winston welcomed son In September 2022 with a husband Josh Wolfe. Since then, Grimaldi has been focusing on being a mother, sharing that there is “no other love that exists out there” which is stronger than the love between mother and son.
“I love my husband, so in love with him. He is the greatest human being in the world. But the second I had my son in my arms I was like, ‘I’ve never experienced love like this in my life,’” she shared with her Us. “And even now it’s two and a half, he can express himself. He can take part in conversations and reason. He’s witty and he’s a very sweet boy and he gets that from his father.”
Since becoming a mother in 2022, Grimaldi went on to reveal that she is now “in the stage” of “refining and rediscovering” who she is.
“I cut my hair. I’ve never had bangs before in my life,” he said. “I learn how to be present and that was my word really. When the new year strikes, you have to take a word. Being present was always a word for me before I had Winston and now he has taught me how to be more present in life. It’s so much of a gift.”
While maternity has changed who she is as a person, Grimaldi noted that she also “changed” her relationship with Wolfe, who she Spouse in 2021.
“Fortunately my husband and I really worked on our relationship before having Winston. So we had such a solid foundation,” he told Us. “Of course our relationship changed after having a child. It is 99 per cent of the time focusing on the child. But we are trying to do cute things for each other. Just like today it sent flowers, card and video to me.
While Grimaldi is busy with her husband and son at the moment, she is still reflecting on her time forward The bachelor as “a great experience.” (Grimaldi appeared on Nick Viall’s Season 21 of the ABC series. The duo engage in the finale, but called it quit in August 2017.)
“I think back and… I don’t know how I did that,” he explained. “Sometimes, I don’t even remember some of the memories. I kind of pushed it. But it was such a great experience and I really think everything was happening for a reason. It led me today.… So I really appreciated my time.”
Sometimes Grimaldi keeps up with the current Bachelor “Every now and then” – however, she doesn’t want Winston to watch her season one day.
“My husband is not even watched,” shared with Us. “That’s no.”
