Vancouver driver enters the crowd of people attending the Philippine Festival by killing multiple victims

The driver was driving a car into the crowd at the Filipin Festival in Vancouver, CanadaOn Saturday night, leaving several victims and others were injured, local authorities said.

The incident happened shortly after 8pm at the Paw Day Party, Vancouver police department said in a message on social media.

“A number of people were killed and several others were injured after the driver entered the crowd at the 41st Avenue and Fraser Festival shortly after 8 pm,” the police said.

The exact number of people was killed or injured, not immediately known.

The driver was taken into custodyPolice said. The motif of the man who was traveling to the crowd is unclear at this time.

The video posted in the social media showed that the victims and garbage scattered on the long section of the road.

A black SUV with a damaged front was seen in fixed photos from the stage.
