Hundreds gathered on Sunday night in the hometown of Utah’s alleged Tyler Robinson’s militant to honor Charlie KirkSadness with your family and attach the pain of Robinson’s relatives.

“It is better to talk through things, not to take measures that hurt anyone else,” he said, noting that violence goes against the values on which America was built.
Kirk Holioak lover called him “an inspiring young man who made him a real wound.” He admired how Kirk listened to the opposite opinions, treated people with respect and encouraged an open conversation.
“I just think we all need to act like that,” he said.
For him, the vigil went on honoring the heritage of Kirk, calling on society – and the country – to return to dialogue over the conflict.
University President Utah Tech Shane Smid told Zemar that the vigil was a moment for unity and healing. Speaking personally, not in his official role, the SMID called last week “an incredibly difficult, tragic week” and called on the community to rely on Faith instead of fear.

He reflected on the meaning of unity, describing it as harmony and unity, and used the image of Canadian geese flying in the formation to illustrate how people support each other – and what happens when lagging behind. True unity, he said, means that no one remains alone. “To be peacekeepers, we must strive to lift the dispute and hate in our lives,” the SMID said.
He closed his prayer for peace, reminding the community that healing would only come by choosing dialogue, compassion and unity.
