The US court ordered Prince Harry immigration materials to be published until Tuesday.
District Judge Carl Nichols ordered the release of documents on the basis of a request for freedom of information (FOI) by the Heritage Foundation, a conservative US analytical tank in Washington.
The Fund claims that the Prince hid his past use of drugs, which was to save him from receiving a visa in the US.
The allegations focus around the claims of the Duke of Sussex in his spare memoir, where he referred to the adoption of cocaine, marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms.
In a book published in January 2023, Prince Harry wrote that he first tried cocaine at the age of 17.
“It wasn’t very much fun, and it didn’t make me particularly happy, because it seemed to make everyone around me, but it made me feel different, and it was the main goal,” he added.
He also wrote about the use of marijuana, saying that “cocaine did nothing to me”, but “marijuana is another that really helped me.”
US visas app forms specifically ask about the current and past drug use.
Acceptance for drug use may lead to the dismissal of non -immigration and immigration visa applications, although immigration employees have the right to make a final decision based on various factors.
The Heritage Fund claims that Prince Harry was lying about the use of drugs for the US immigration bodies, which could cause a lifelong ban.
The BBC contacted the White House and the Duke’s office for comments.
The court ruling comes after 2024 Decree The same judges who stated that there was not enough society to discover the immigration records of Prince Harry.
Heritage Fund challenged this ruling and pushed the court decision.
Prince Harry moved to the United States with his wife Megan in 2020 after leaving as a royal worker. It is unclear on which visa he entered the country, and the Duchess is a US citizen.
In February, President Donald Trump expelled Prince Harry’s deportation, telling the New York Post: “I will leave him alone … He has enough problems with his wife. She’s awful.”
In the past, Megan was a vocal critic of Trump, calling him a “misery”.
