What happened in season 2 ‘The Last of Us’, Chapter 6?
Almost the whole episode happened in the past. The first -handed back submitted Better to call Saul‘S. Tony Dalton Like Javier Miller, father of Joel and Tommy. Joel gave himself between the aggression of his father and younger brother, and was rewarded for his bravery with a heart-to-heart conversation. Javier also expressed his hope that Joel will do better with his own children than he did with him.
To some extent, Joel did. The rest of the episode touches Joel’s life with Ellie in Jackson, including the time she gave her a hand crafted guitar for her birthday. However, the emotional distance between Joel and Ellie grew more over the years, especially when she declared her intention to move out of his house. On Ellie’s 19th birthday, she and Joel went out on patrol and encountered Eugene (Joe Pantoliano) after it is infected. Eugene urged Joel to let him see his wife, Gail (Catherine O’Hara), one last time. Ellie for Joel agreed with that, but was annoyed when Joel Eugene was executed anyway. That’s why she revealed her lie to Gail.
In the final back, Ellie Joel faced after the New Year’s Eve party and demanded the truth about what happened with the fire flies. Joel admitted executing all of them instead of letting Ellie be eupled in the name of finding a healing. Ellie had anger because she felt that was worth dying for, but told Joel that she wanted to try to forgive him. In turn, Joel told Ellie that he hopes she will do better with her children.
What is going to happen in the season 2 ‘The Last of Us’, Chapter 7?
Expect to see a big turning point for Ellie’s story, as this chapter will be the last for at least a year or two. It will be interesting to see a The last of us deviates into a cliff ending or if the collection to season 2 is left more open -ended.

Yes, and it looks like Ellie and her boyfriend, Dina, will be reunited at least one more time this season. Ex Dina, Jesse, appears and makes a very good point about the war to Seattle that they have inadvertently stepped for him. Not their battle, but they may not have a choice in the matter if he tries to leave with Dina.
As for Ellie, she has already made her decision. She’s going to find Abby or die trying.
