Authorities in New Yar are investigating the place where the Mexican sailing ship hit the Brooklyn Bridge for the clues on how the deadly collision took place.
Two people on board were killed, and at least 19 people were injured when the Mexican Military Ship crashed into the bridge on Saturday night.
Police said early investigations showed that the ship had lost power before the collision. The video showed that three high mast ships collapsed when the horrific viewers looked out of the shore.
It is unclear how the vessel approached the bridge, which the authorities confirmed that the strike was not damaged. It opened again to the movement at the end of the Saturday.
Police said Cuauhtémoc had 48.2 million (158 feet), while the bridge had 41.1 million (135 feet), New York reports.
Respondents were able to remove at least 27 people from the ship for treatment, and all 277 employees were taken into account, the fire authorities said in New Yar.
The ship lost all three masts and was transferred to the nearest pier for the investigation.
The National Transport Security Council said he sends a team to assist in the investigation that coordinates between US and Mexico governments.
The secretary of the Military Fleet of Mexico Rimund Pedro Morales Angeles said in a statement that the results of any investigation would be accompanied by “complete transparency and responsibility”.
