The US has accepted a plane from Qatar, a gift that caused criticism, including some of the largest supporters of President Trump.
“The defense secretary received Boeing 747 with Qatar in accordance with all federal rules,” Pentagon’s press secretary, Pentagon, said in a statement on Wednesday.
The aircraft will need to be changed before it can be used as part of the Air Force Fleet – the official regime of the president’s air transport.
The White House insists that the gift is legal, but the announcement of the transmission a week ago caused great disputes.
