I had my own company in Florida and Sunny came to work for me after the season. And Ben also asked for work to come and work for me. “
Kerry was hoping to give any ones to start Season 11 issues behind them.
“With everything that happened on the show, I think in the second chance for everyone. He was trying to get work. I encouraged him and tried to give him guidance. Then he didn’t like something I said in an interview, which was factually,” Kerry remembered. “I guess he believed he was the star and tried to drag me down, so he had no pressure. So he was very disappointed for him.”
The captain pointed out that Ben did not return for season 12, adding, They’re not going to trust you.
Man face some major changes Throughout season 11 after going from lead deck to Bosun when Jared Woodin was fired by Kerry. After the on -screen promotion, Ben teased Us that his working relationship with Kerry is what changed most throughout the season.
“Captain Kerry (has) very much of a military stance. (He) is more authority -based. So that was a bit of a teaching curve for me,” he admitted in March 2024. “It doesn’t really work with the style I like with my leadership. So we had a little friction there, and you might see a little of that coming up.”
As new chapters continued to fly, Ben took to social media to suggestion on his discontent.
“I was once used to love under the deck. There’s too much not seen. I’m on a crossroads like (i) whether it needs to be told the truth or I don’t let this drink me anymore,” he wrote through Instagram during a fan question and answer in April 2024. “(I) don’t enjoy this season because of a number of factors. I never wanted to step on the St David.” Again.
Kerry called Ben’s comments “a real slap to the face” after supporting the Bosun. “I would have fired it on an ego (on my own),” he revealed. “And he made the decision to implement how he did after the fact, which is on it.”
According to Kerry, he have received again An apology from Ben.
“I haven’t (heard an apology), and he kind of sunny drag into it too. Broadcasting your complaints doesn’t help – and I had many opportunities to fire it throughout the season. But I wanted to continue to give him a chance. So at the end of the season, I even talked to him,” he explained. “I approached him and said, ‘Hey, friend, we’re going to carry out a cabin inspection. I want you to make sure all the cabins are made.’ So that’s what we saw – I asked him to let the crew know how important it is and then I have to do it.
Kerry continued: “It’s part of my structure of the ship. It’s the legal requirement of my job to carry out cabin checks. So I had to do it – but I waited until later in the season to give everyone a chance to find their foundation. So I asked him to inform the crew how important it is and then he was the only one he didn’t do.”
Although Ben is not on board 12, Kerry still have his hands fully With plenty of drama, teasing, “There were many lumps in the way.
